LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR TO HOST RECEPTION
FOR 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF
THE LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR’S GAMES
AT VARIETY VILLAGE
TORONTO – The Honourable David C. Onley, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, will host a reception for the 25th Anniversary of the Lieutenant Governor Games at Variety Village.
“I am honoured to host Variety Village on this special anniversary of the Lieutenant Governor Games. This annual event provides a terrific outlet for kids of all abilities to showcase and hone their athleticism. The reception also celebrates the special relationship between the Vice Regal Office and Variety Village.”

The Lieutenant Governor Games at Variety Village were started in 1984 by the Honourable John Black Aird and subsequent Lieutenant Governors of Ontario have traditionally presided over the games. Variety Village provides services and recreation for children with disabilities through the promotion of athletics and fitness.
