LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR PRESENTS AWARDS TO
THE CANADIAN SOCIETY OF PAINTERS IN WATER COLOUR
TORONTO – The Honourable David C. Onley, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, will present several diplomas and lifetime achievement awards to members of the Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour.
“I’m honoured to distribute these awards to new and honorary members of the society as well as those members who have earned a lifetime achievement award.”
said His Honour.
The Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour was founded in 1925 by some of Canada’s most illustrious artists and honours excellence in watercolour through juried exhibition, presents major national and international exhibitions of work by its members and collects contemporary and historical Canadian watercolour.
