LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR UNVEILS VICE-REGAL SUITE
ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE AND LAUNCHES ART EXHIBIT
TORONTO – The Honourable David C. Onley, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, will host a reception, with members of Ontario’s accessibility community in attendance to celebrate the new accessible entrance to the Lieutenant Governor’s suite, and to inaugurate Connections, an exhibit of 16 Ontario artists with disabilities curated by the Abilities Arts Festival which will be on display in the Lieutenant Governor’s Suite for six months.
Following extensive renovations, the Vice-Regal Suite has been made fully accessible with the installation of a new elevator. Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario, the Hon. Steve Peters, will join His Honour in cutting the ceremonial ribbon in front of the accessible entrance on the west drive of Queen’s Park.
