LIEUTENANT GOVENOR TO MEET WITH
‘RUN THE DREAM’ PARTICIPANTS
TORONTO – The Honorable David C. Onley, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, will meet with the two participants in the ‘Run the Dream’ run on Tuesday, July 22, 2008.
Mr. Jonathan Howard is running across Canada to raise awareness of autism spectrum disorders. Mr. Terry Robinson, who has cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair, is joining Jonathan from Ottawa to Winnipeg.
“I commend the efforts of Jonathan and Terry,”
said the Honourable David C. Onley. “Their strength and perseverance is admirable, and we should be proud that Ontario has produced two such formidable and caring athletes.”
Starting his run in Newfoundland, Mr. Howard will finish the challenge upon reaching Victoria, British Columbia. In support of Jonathan’s efforts, Mr. Robinson is joining the trek using his wheelchair from Ottawa to Winnipeg.
