LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR HOSTS EVENT TO INAUGURATE

THE QUEEN AND THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH'S DIAMOND

WEDDING ANNIVERSARY BOOK

TORONTO – The Honourable David C. Onley, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, will host a reception to inaugurate a Book of Congratulations to celebrate The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh's 60^th wedding anniversary. Media are invited for speeches and photographs.

Ontarians wishing to send greetings can do so in one of two ways: the Book of Congratulations will be available at Queen’s Park between November 15^th and November 20^th (excluding Saturday 17^th and Sunday 18^th) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. or an electronic greeting can be sent by visiting the Lieutenant Governor’s website (www.lt.gov.on.ca). The electronic greetings will be combined with those in the Book of Congratulations to be sent to Her Majesty and Prince Philip.
