THE UPPER HALL serves as an informal sitting area for guests. On display is a large banner with the cypher and arms of King George IV dating from 1820, and on the opposite wall is a painting depicting Alexander Mackenzie's expedition to discover a route to the Pacific. Doorways lead to the Music Room and to administrative offices.
