The Lieutenant Governor's Suite

| PORTRAITS of lieutenant governors who served Ontario between 1932 and 2007 ring the Music Room walls. Since the late 1880s, Ontario's lieutenant governors have each been painted by an artist of their choice, following their term of office. Most earlier portraits in the Suite were painted posthumously by George Berthon. The paintings are part of the Government of Ontario Art Collection, which is administered by the Archives of Ontario. |
