| THE DINING ROOM is a gracious setting for formal luncheons and dinners hosted by the Lieutenant Governor to honour royalty, visiting dignitaries, and leading citizens. Sliding doors can be opened so that large dinners and receptions can extend into the adjacent drawing room. The oak table, chairs, and sideboard, designed in the 17th-century Jacobean style, were made in 1915 for Ontario’s former vice-regal residence, Chorley Park. |
